Austin E. Friedrich is a Partner whose practice focuses on workers’ compensation and related civil litigation matters. Prior to attending law school, Austin worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. where he served as a legislative aid to two Congressmen. Some of the issues Austin handled were – appropriations, defense matters, energy, small business, trade and veterans issues. While attending law school, Austin was involved in numerous competitions and outside activities. Specifically, he was a regional finalist at the American Bar Association Negotiation Competition, a member of the National Veterans Law moot court team and served as a teaching assistant.
As a former collegiate athlete, Austin enjoys remaining active in sports. Recently, he served as the head varsity football coach for a local high school for three years. Austin has twice completed the Chicago Marathon and golfing whenever possible. Austin loves spending time with his wife and young son in which they enjoy traveling the country and aboard.
