Alyssa M. Busse is an Associate Attorney practicing in the workers’ compensation department. Alyssa graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a Certificate in Labor and Employment Law. During law school, Alyssa utilized her Illinois 711 license while working in the C-K Law Group Plaintiff’s Employment Litigation Clinic and the City of Chicago Law Department. Alyssa externed for the Honorable Pamela McLean Meyerson in the Chancery Division of the Cook County Circuit Court. Prior to joining the firm, Alyssa also clerked for a variety of law firms specializing in insurance defense, civil litigation, family law, and employment litigation. During Alyssa’s second year of law school, she served as the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois liaison for the Chicago-Kent Women and Law Society. Alyssa studied Philosophy and Classical History at the University of Arizona. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Alyssa worked for three years as a criminal defense legal assistant in Tucson, Arizona.
