PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Francis O'Byrne, Jr. is a Partner, and began working for the firm in 1979 as a law clerk. Mr. O’Byrne specializes in the defense of workers’ compensation cases, and also handles employment, subrogation, third-party, general liability, criminal, real estate and litigation throughout the State of Illinois. He has been a Cook County Circuit Court Arbitrator for ten years. In 1994, he became licensed to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. O’Byrne was born and raised in Chicago and is currently an assistant scout master with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 979, since 1980. He is the son of the late Honorable Francis J. O’Byrne, Sr., Federal Court Administrative Law Judge, and currently resides in Villa Park, Illinois with his family.
